Hi Families, We can't believe the last week of school is upon us! To celebrate, fourth grade will be doing Classroom Campground curriculum based activities. Students will be allowed to bring in one sleeping bag or blanket as well as one small stuffed animal per person. (please no pillows) Students may also bring in simple pop up or easy to assemble tents. Items for Classroom Campground should be brought in on MONDAY ONLY and will be sent home on WEDNESDAY. For fun, we will be making trail mix (goldfish, pretzels, and m and m's needed) and smores mix (graham cracker cereal, mini chocolate chips, and mini marshmallows needed) in class to tie in with the Classroom Campground theme. If you can send in items, please email your child's homeroom teacher directly as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for your help. (if your child cannot eat those items, please send in special snacks). Also- students may bring in yearbooks for a special signing day on TUESDAY. And lastly, there will be NO BYOT for the remainder of the year. Hope to see you at the End of the Year party THURSDAY at 12:00. Thank you for an amazing year! Kara Merck

Hello Parents and Students,
Friday we had some much fun at WOW day and tie-dying t-shirts for lemonade stand day! This week we will continuing to work on a Project-Based Learning assignment. Students have chosen a big directed question to research and create a project around. Some examples are: "What would happen if dinosaurs lived today? or What would the U.S. be like if the Confederates had won the war?" I can't wait to see what students come up with! We have a lot of fun activities some up, please see the upcoming dates below. Also, we have seen a decline in positive behaviors across the entire forth grade. To remedy this, fourth grade teachers and administration have taken some measures to ensure that we have a wonderful rest of the year. Please talk with your child about what the behavior expectations are at school. We have gone over what we expect and have discussed consequences. I believe we are going to have a wonderful last month of school!
